Welcome!
Brass students of all ages and abilities are welcome at my teaching studio. I prepare students for AMEB exams, University Entry, Extension Music, or invite them to improve their playing ability and have some fun.
I am a practising French Horn and Trombone player, whose experience includes playing for the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Brisbane Symphony Orchestra and Royal Australian Navy Band. She has also performed as a soloist with the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra and the Noosa Symphony Orchestra and also enjoys playing chamber music. Karina has been teaching privately and in schools for over twenty years and has seen many of her students successfully audition for both the Qld Conservatorium of Music and the University of Queensland.
My students have been successful in passing AMEB exams, Extension Music Exams and University Entry. In addition, many students have been selected as members of the Young Conservatorium program and Queensland Youth Orchestras.
